DEPLOY - Into the world through ministry and service
The journey of discipleship is not complete unless it includes some acts of sharing love, service and Christ with the world. Anything less is an incomplete disciple of Christ. At Homeport we offer you many opportunities to do those things. We hand out drinks at parades, give away back to school backpacks to families that are struggling, participate in Carefest, and also engage in short term mission trips. We are a church that knows the power and importance of providing places for you to experience what it is like to deploy into the world through ministry and service.
We also have an obligation as a mature disciple of Christ to help others find Him. Simple things like praying for those who are outside Christianity, sharing a meal, and offering an invitation to church are just a few ways to share God's love.
So that is what is means to deploy into the world through ministry and service.
